Understanding People Better Through body Language

Watching people’s action can bring you a lot closer to the truth than merely listening to what they say (which might be a cover-up). This is the “science” of kinesics, or “body language”.

Reading body language is very exciting indeed! If you know how to read and interpret body language, you can predict other people’s mood and thinking process.

Some of us can read it naturally and some of us are notoriously oblivious. Fortunately, with a little extra attentiveness, you can learn to read body language, and with enough practice it’ll become second nature. It can be very revealing….

Some outward expressions of inner feelings:

Openness: Open hands, unbuttoned coat.

Defensiveness: Arms crossed, sideways glance, touching-rubbing nose, rubbing eyes. Buttoned coat, drawing away.

Insecurity: Pinching flesh, chewing pen, thumb over thumb, biting fingernails.

Cooperation: Upper body in sprinters position. Open hands, sitting on edge of chair, hand to face gestures, unbuttoning coat.

Confidence: Steepled hands, hands behind back, back stiffened, hand in coat pockets with thumbs out. Hands on lapels of coat.

Nervousness: Clearing throat, “whew” sound, whistling, smoking, pinching flesh, fidgeting, covering mouth, jiggling money or keys, tugging ears, wringing hands.

Frustration: Short breaths, “tsk” sound, tightly clenched hands, wringing hands, fist-like gestures, pointing index finger, rubbing hand through hair rubbing back of neck.

Noticing the signals that people send out with their body language is a very useful social skill…Don’t isolate yourself by constantly examining body language when interacting with people. Otherwise, there is no reason to gain a social upper hand anyway. This is paralysis by analysis.

Tongue Piercing Aftercare

In the ancient time, tongue piercing was a temporary piercing for the religious act and practice. Most of the tongue piercing was practiced by the Aztecs drawing blood offerings to their deities. The Islamic fakirs, Sufi’s belonging to the Middle East and the far east Asian spirits did tongue piercing for a religious trance.
This oral piercing is the most common and popular among the adolescence. The tongue piercing had its history from the tradition to the tribal society and today it is considered to be a fashion scenario.

In the first three hours avoid drinking , smoking and eating.

Do Factors for a New Piercing :
1. Always wash hand before touching the piercing. Clean the tongue piercing twice a day with water continuously for a week.
2. Use Difflam-CT throat lozenges – for an antibacterial lozenge ( it prevents infections).
3. Rinse mouth with Listerine. A mouthwash should is usually diluted up to 1/4 of normal strength with water while an undiluted mouthwash reduces the mouth’s natural enzymes and peptides which help healing.
4. Be careful and cautious when eating solid food ( take small bites ) and always chew to keep the tongue level in the mouth while eating.
5. Always keep cold water in the fridge and have cold food – ice creams because the cold products can reduce swelling. When laying down the swelling gets worst because the blood runs from the head.

Don’t Factors for a New Piercing :
1. Don’t talk too much because the barbell will excess the movement.
2. Do not take spicy or hot food in temperature, they increase swelling at the healing period.
3. The undiluted mouthwash kills the mouth natural enzymes which promote healing
4. Do not bite nails or pens.
5. Don’t change your piercing jewelry at the healing process.

Items not to use at new piercing :
Salt, Hydrogen peroxide. tea tree oil, betadine or any sort of solution or an ointment to the new piercing.
